The second Hazards Asia Pacific Symposium

IChemE and the Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia (CICM) are pleased to announce the second Hazards Asia Pacific Symposium. IChemE’s Hazards Symposium is now firmly established as one of Europe’s premier process safety conferences and the meeting is now being staged in Malaysia for the second time.

Building on the success of the inaugural meeting, which saw 250 experts from across the region gather in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in September 2011. Organisers are aiming for a bigger and better event with a planning target of 400 delegates, additional sessions and an expanded exhibition of safety products and services for the oil, gas and chemical process industries.

ABB and PETRONAS chemicals have already signed up as conference sponsors and the technical programme will once again be led by Dr. Christina Phang, Managing Partner at the leading global consultancy, ERM.

This conference will provide an essential forum for international experts and process safety professionals to discuss operational excellence in a competitive environment.
