Join IChemE as a Technician member

You can apply for EngTech at the same time as you join IChemE, or at a later date.

Apply for the EngTech qualification

You will need to complete a short report to demonstrate:

  • Your technical experience and expertise 
  • Your commitment to the profession and to your continual development

What happens next?

IChemE Members, practicing engineering professionals, will assess your report and award you with the EngTech title if you meet the requirements.
